September 20 is World Children's Day! The child-friendly municipality of Flensburg has come up with a special campaign for this day to focus attention on children and their rights: a door hanger listing the 10 most important children's rights and a QR code linking to the show #Kinderstören in the ARD media library was hung on the doors of all employees in the town hall. At the same time, an email was sent to all city employees discussing the individual needs and future potential of children. The email also mentioned the City Hall Rally on September 24, where approximately 100 children had the opportunity to explore City Hall and its 12 departments. The campaign in Flensburg is a wonderful example of how the importance of children's rights can be highlighted in public administration.
